The UTSA Educational Research Training Program is designed to mentor undergraduate students beginning in their junior year to conduct collaborative educational science research that prepares them for graduate study. The training program is primarily housed within the UTSA Child and Adolescent Policy Research Institute and includes faculty and students from across disciplines who are conducting educational science research. The dual focus of the funded training program is to:
- Provide undergraduate juniors with experiences in conducting educational science research with a focus on P-20 Pipeline Issues while preparing participants for doctoral study, and
- Help increase diversity in the educational science fields.
