Arlette Perez is a senior anthropology major at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Arlette transferred from San Antonio College with an A.A. in psychology. At UTSA, she is a Mellon Humanities Pathways Fellow and a McNair Scholar. She is also a member of the Honors College and is currently conducting research on constructions of Mexican American identity and immigration. Arlette will enroll in a Ph.D. program in Anthropology in the fall of 2019.
