Biography

Dr. Becky Huang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Bicultural-Bilingual Studies, College of Education and Human Development, at the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA). She holds a Ph.D. (2009) and an M.A. (2006) in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Second Language Acquisition from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and an M.Ed (2002) in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University. She received three years of postdoctoral training in the Graduate School of Education and Department of Psychology at Harvard University (2009-2012), and in the English Language Learning and Assessment Research Division at Educational Testing Service (ETS) (2010-2012). Dr. Huang has taught in the English as a second language teacher certification program at The College of New Jersey, and was a Visiting Assistant Professor at UTSA from 2012-2013.
