Jose A. Hinojosa is a Master’s student in Public Administration. He received his B.S. in Physical Culture and Sports with a Minor in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. His research areas include immigration, race and ethnicity, health care inequalities, and higher education in underrepresented communities. Previously, Jose was a Legal Assistant at the Eddie Ramirez Law Firm in his hometown of Rio Grande City, TX and at Rojas Law Firm in San Antonio. He assisted the firms in legal research, court hearings, and administrative tasks. He is currently the Graduate Research Assistant for the UTSA Educational Research Training Program: P-20 Pipeline Issues at the UTSA CAPRI/Mexico Center were he assists the program coordinator.
